[edit] New Layout and Format
I've edited the page to be more encyclopedic. The change was more of a stylistic change rather than an informational change. There are still plenty of missing pieces. For example, the first game to let you change appearance, first to let you change moves, first to let you do other stuff, all are important to the article and should be researched.
(Once the article gets longer, there will be enough room for the three pictures, but I did cut out a lot of the 'fluff' in the article so I had to take out one of the pictures because of overcrowding.)
Let's get this page to a better rating! -- Phoenix
I've revamped the history to flow better as a timeline. I don't have as much info on the early Japanese games as I'd like, so I'm still researching those. I think I've got the majority of games starting from 1996 on... Enigmatic2k3 (talk) 16:47, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Links removed
Due to advertising and continious re-editing, ive deleted the links section of the page. It was basically a cheap advertising section. -- RJTReef

[edit] Japanese CAWs
This article could use a bit more information on create-a-wrestler modes in Japanese games, which predate their introduction on the North American continent in WWF Warzone. There are many previous-gen games that have CAW modes in Japan, most notably the Super Famicom game Super Fire Pro Wrestling X Premium. Anybody want to have a go at adding some info on this? --HBK|Talk 22:14, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] CAW Sites
Please can people stop editing the history page to advertise their CAW Site. If you wish to add your site to the wikipage either add the name to the list in the last history paragraph or add it to the links at the bottom of the page. Please don't add a brand new paragraph just on your site in the article. -- RJTReef
[edit] Sd vs Raw 08
I removed this bit "In the upcoming WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw 2008, the player can choose the brand on which their created wrestler wrestles for (between SmackDown!, RAW, and ECW). Category:Professional wrestling games" because you have been able to do this on the last two games. Y2J RKO 18:10, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] TNA
can the tna game do this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.226.24.105 (talk) 17:58, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
TNA game is stil unreleased, although promo material indicates a robust CAW mode. We'll have to wait until it's actually playable before adding info about it.Enigmatic2k3 (talk) 17:06, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
