Crewster is a social networking website that offers working members of the film industry a place to connect with each other for the purpose of finding employment. Users give each other recommendations based on their previous positive work experiences. The site is free to use, but many features require registration.

Crewster was launched on October 1, 2004 by Michael Williams, a line producer based in Los Angeles, California. The site originally offered few features and did not include basic items like lists of current productions or personal calendars. As the site grew these features were added.
