Cresecent Point Energy Trust (TSX: CPG.UN) is an oil & gas production income trust company based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Crescent Point has 3.1 billion barrels of original oil in place and a reserve life index of 12.0 years on a proved plus probable basis. At least 75% of the companies revenue is driven from the SE Saskatchewan area. Crecent Point has been very active acquiring SE Saskatchewan producers, so their assets are continually growing. Crecent Point is aggressively identifying take-over targets producing from the Bakken Formation in SE Saskatchewan.
