Crescent Air Cargo was a cargo airline based in Chennai, India. It was a dedicated scheduled cargo carrier operating to cities in India, Sri Lanka and the Maldives[1]. Its main base was Chennai International Airport.
The airline ceased operations on 31 August 2006[1].

The airline was established in June 2000[1] by a group of people including Captain Deepak Parasuraman, Capt.Pattabhiraman, Krishna Vittaldev.
Airline has been taken over by a Karnataka Based Industrialist. Has resumed operations since July 2007
[edit] Destinations
In March 2005, Crescent Air Cargo announced their intention to serve cities such as Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai in India, Colombo, Sri Lanka and Malé, Maldives, from April 2005. From August 2007, it started its Chennai - Vizag Operations and by March 2008, its plan to connect Chennai - Vizag - Kolkota and back.
