[edit] Coming to New Mexico

Howdy, Mike! I was perusing the category of Wikipedians in NM and saw your page. I, like you, was extremely saddened at the passing of Mitch Hedberg, and I love Incubus (although I'm only 21, so a year and change to go until combustion/universal dislike). I currently live in New York but I'm considering a move to Albuquerque, where I know few people and thus looked to Wikipedia to introduce myself. If you would like to talk about New Mexico, Wikipedia, or whatever, feel free to let me know!

I also noticed that you are into hiking, is New Mexico a good place for it? I think one of the great perks about going there is that one can spend far more time outdoors in NM than in NY, where it is just bitter cold and you are never truly "outside" no matter where you go.

Hope to hear from you! Paul 05:05, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

Mike - thanks for getting back to me re: New Mexico. Time and circumstance have dictated that I am stuck here in New York for the time being, although bringing my motorbike out to NM and living out of a tent is a dream that I have not let go of. I also happened to notice property for sale in Valencia County near Los Lunas - do you happen to know anything about the area? It seems like it could be a good investment due to its proximity to ABQ and the interstate, so I'm considering giving it a shot...anyways, when I do go out to NM again, it would be great to go for a hike...I recently saw the featured article on Amateur Radio Direction Finding and was quite intrigued by that, are you at all familiar? Talk to you later...Paul 18:35, 21 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] External map service links

Hello. You have been identified as having added or removed direct external map service links in articles[1]. There is a discussion at Wikipedia talk:External links#Issues with inclusion or exclusion of map service links about which should be done, and some more opinions would be good to find community consensus. --Para (talk) 23:01, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
