[edit] Under the Umbrella Tree

  • Hi there, i couldn't help but notice one of your other username was PatrickA. Aren't you the same guy who was a member of the UTUT Yahoo group and you had your own UTUT website? Well, from the group. The group seems very dead, but anyway, i am wondering if you are going to update your UTUT stuff, and perhaps some video clips of the show? I have made my own UTUT website now (The unofficial one), and feel free to join the forum there.
  • Hello, and yes I am the member from the UtUT group, and I am the one who made the website. Coincidentally, I just finished ordering the "Under the Umbrella Tree Volume 1" DVD from Cinerio Entertainment, and already have some opening titles downloaded to the computer from my VHS tape. I would love to download the VHS videos to the net but I have dial-up as specified on my user page :(... it would take ages. If you wan't a copy of the new DVD I'm getting I'd gladly send you a ripped copy on DVD or you can order it yourself at Cinerio. Send me an email through Wikipedia and I'll respond with my personal email address and we can talk mailing the DVD. Thanks for your interest. I'd also like to know that website address for your group!. — `CRAZY`(lN)`SANE` 05:59, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
  • Well it's a small world. My website address is http://www.angelfire.com/droid/undertheumbrellatree, it's not a group though. And i've given it a UTUT forum, which you can gladly register. It's very new!

  • Bye - good luck :-) Let us know when and if you are back.--Arktos talk 21:06, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Long-Overdue RfA Thanks from Alphachimp

Thanks for your support in my not-so-recent RfA, which was successful with a an overwhelmingly flattering and deeply humbling total of 138/2/2 (putting me #10 on the RfA WP:100). I guess infinite monkey theorem has been officially proven. Chimps really can get somewhere on Wikipedia.

With new buttons come great responsibility, and I'll try my best to live up to your expectations. If you need assistance with something, don't hesitate to swing by my talk page or email me (trust me, I do respond :)). The same goes for any complaints or comments in regard to my administrative actions. Remember, I'm here for you.

(Thanks go to Blnguyen for the incredible photo to the right.) alphaChimp laudare 01:12, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

I'm so sorry. I do hope you come back sometime. alphaChimp laudare 01:12, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thank you all

Thank you all for the fond farewells, I appreciate them dearly. It is my birthday today and I have momentarily returned to the Wikipedia as a "birthday treat". I see the Spring holiday article is fairly quiet and things are running smoothly between the editors I'm acquaintanced with. I've noticed your username change as well, AYArktos—good luck with that. I hope I may one day be able to permanently return to the Wikipedia, and until then I bid you all adieu, and I will be enjoying my "big 18th"! Haha!. — `CRAZY`(lN)`SANE` [discl.] 03:47, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Happy birthday then.

In that case, have a happy birthday and I hope to see you back here editing soon. JoshuaZ 04:16, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

Happy birthday greetings from me too. Regards from Australia in the spring time Golden Wattle talk 11:12, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re: your comment

CIS, thank you for the kind words. I see now that I have returned that you are away. Good luck with resolving whatever is transpiring. — Knowledge Seeker 21:43, 29 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Moving articles

Do not paste an article in a new name; this loses the history as well as the history of the talk page (and I note you didn't even copy the talk page) Use Move. If there is a history at the destination, this will not work and you must contact an admin (WP:RFPM) to do the move. Thanks - KillerChihuahua?!? 09:44, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Greetings from CIS!

Welcome back. What makes you think I'm on break? Powers T 12:09, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

Oh, and as regards Winter holiday greetings, if you're going to redirect terms such as Season's Greetings and Happy Hanukkah to this article, it really ought to mention them. (WP:REDIRECT says not to redirect users to a page where they can't find the information they're searching for.) Powers T 12:21, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for your greetings. I hope you have a pleasant wikiholiday (ie contributing here). I also hope you have a great Christmas and New Year. I am looking forward to Christmas and am busy getting ready. We are in the middle of a drought but otherwise all looks well from this part of the world. It is hard to imagine winter and a white Christmas. Part of our celebrations involve flaming a Christmas pudding, which I understand is not common in the US - not sure about Canada. It is a UK tradition. Here is a picture of one of my puddings from a few years ago - unfortunately my camera doesn't always photograph the colour blue so well but you probably get the idea. It tastes terrific and is eaten with brandy butter also known as hard sauce. Regards Golden Wattle talk 18:56, 7 December 2006 (UTC) (formerly known as AYArktos)

[edit] Your input sought

You must have had some run-in with Pmanderson before his last RfA. He's now up again, and I've also been subjected to his rude attacks and wikilawyering, including his recent 3RR. I don't believe he's ready yet, or if he truly has the temperament. Your comments? Skyemoor 05:23, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Christmas

Hi, you've been helping with this article so I wanted to drop you a note. User:Kauffner has recently made many (30) changes without prior discussion, including the deletion of well-sourced material that was added to the article by consensus. I have started a new section to discuss these changes here and I hope you will join in. Thanks Doc Tropics 17:11, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

An image that you uploaded or altered, Image:Kmart Holiday.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images because its copyright status is disputed. If the image's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. Please go to its page for more information if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. -- Consumed Crustacean (talk) 09:39, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Ceyockey RfA

A generic but nonetheless warm "thank you" for your generous words of support in my RfA. I'm glad that you affirmed Radiant's nomination and I'll be measured in my use of the cleaning closet's contents. User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 22:29, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Forked article

Hi CrazyInSane. Do you still need User:Darwiner111/Britney Spears? If not, would you consider tagging it for speedy deletion? Thanks. ×Meegs 10:22, 25 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Template

You asked for a dialogue template letting users know that the post that started it all was on a dif. page, "One template that I think would be useful is something one would add when discussing on user pages. For example, if I and User:Bob were having a conversation, he would first leave a message on my talk page. As courtesy, when I respond, I post the response at his talk page (so he gets the "new messages" warning). However, when I post the comments on Bob's talk page, I could insert a template that would read: "This discussion originated at User talk:CrazyInSane", to allow for easy access to the rest of the conversation. What does everyone think?. — `CRAZY`(IN)`SANE` 18:59, 12 August 2006 (UTC)"

I was wondering if this is what your talking about (if not just tell me and I can change it). --Danielfolsom 07:03, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Macysxmas.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Macysxmas.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] Blocked

I've blocked you for one month for using the sockpuppets OLP1999 (talk · contribs) and RunningAway (talk · contribs) to evade your history of edit warring over BCE and CE. The length of this block is based on your previous blocks. Khoikhoi 01:46, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

Not to sound like a sockpuppet myself, but i've known this user quite awhile, and while the users you've blocked do seem to share similar attitudes and editing styles with Crazy, I don't see a CheckUser on Crazy or one of his possible sockpuppets anywhere, or in the CheckUser archives. Homestarmy 02:27, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
I would also like to know if a checkuser confirmed this. JoshuaZ 03:17, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] In Memorian

You've got quite a list of recently deceased family members. I'd peform a few health tests to make sure you don't have any inherited genetic diseases, since in the last decade you've lost quite a few people who died young.

[edit] Image:Playboy March 2005.jpg

Hello, CrazyInSane. An automated process has found and removed an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that was in your userspace. The image (Image:Playboy March 2005.jpg) was found at the following location: User:CrazyInSane/Hilton. This image or media was attempted to be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media was replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. Please find a free image or media to replace it with, and or remove the image from your userspace. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 07:55, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Target Xmas.JPG)

Thanks for uploading Image:Target Xmas.JPG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:CBCPEI.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:CBCPEI.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 04:23, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
