[edit] Craig Richards
If you want to create an article about the actor then start another page and don't add him to an exsisting article. Name the article something like Craig Richards (actor). Based on your user name and the name of the actor I think you should read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. Thanks. CambridgeBayWeather Have a gorilla 20:23, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

I didn't delete the page myself, as I'm not (yet) an admin. You may want to talk to User:J Milburn, the admin who deleted the page -- apparently the page got deleted because you blanked it. Also, note that it's improper to overwrite a page as you did here. If you feel that Craig Richards (actor) was deleted in error, I would suggest taking it to deletion review. Either way, keep in mind that it's usually considered bad form to write a page about yourself, even if you do happen to meet WP:N, our notability guidelines. - I speedy deleted the page because you had blanked it (removed all content from it) and not edited it since. This is generally assumed to mean that you have decided that you no longer want the page to exist, but do not understand the deletion procedures; as such, I deleted it for you. I do not believe for a second that you were lying, though we must admit that the article was not backed up by reliable sources (IMDB uses user-submitted content and a personal, first party website is not considered reliable) and so there is nothing to indicate that you weren't. However, if you are certain that you meet our notability guidelines (generally, in this case, the winning of a major award and/or significant coverage in multiple reliable sources would suffice- simply appearing in a tonne of films will not) then I would be happy to work on the article with you to ensure that there was no conflict of interest and to ensure that it kept in line with our policies.
