[edit] Craig Edward MacLean

The article you created at Craig Edward MacLean was listed for deletion as An article about a real person that does not assert the importance or significance of its subject, criterion 7 in the criteria for speedy deletion, Articles section. Since it appears to be about you I've moved it to your user space instead, which was probably what you intended in the first place (a common mistake among newcomers!).

If you really did mean to create an article about yourself please be aware that this is often considered a bad idea, even if you do meet the guidelines for inclusion of biographies.

I know Wikipedia can be confusing for new editors, so you are welcome to ask for help at the help desk or on my talk page. Wikipedia is not a free web host, though, so please edit your user page to amke it more helpful in finding out about you as an editor of Wikipedia and less about promoting you personally. Thanks. [edit] The Legend of the Luscious Limited Edition Lilac Ice-Cream

The article The Legend of the Luscious Limited Edition Lilac Ice-Cream has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki 18:22, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

Your article did not assert anything about this film being released anywhere. It's your job, as the author, to assert why your subject is notable. NawlinWiki 18:38, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
