[edit] Mutual intelligibility
The paragraph you clobbered is no more "unfounded" than most of the rest of the entry. Indeed, it's probably less. I cannot speak to the Icelandic/Swedish, but the Portugese/Spanish is pretty common. --Belg4mit 06:09, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
- I agree, the entire article is pretty bad. My linguist friend who was over said that paragraph was misleading because it is a lot more complicated, involving dialects of the given languages, etc. CrackerjackWannabe 15:19, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Tone Pole
Thank you very much for taking the liberty to photograph a tone pole. The picture is great in the article (especially since I'd never seen one before,) but could you maybe get a closer shot of the actual pole? Thanks. Discgolfrules 21:57, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
- I've cropped one of my other pictures and uploaded it here: Image:Tone_Pole_800x600.jpg ... however, it's a pretty lousy quality image. :-( I'll try and take more next time I'm on pender island. CrackerjackWannabe 19:30, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
That's what I was afraid of, nonetheless, thank you for your contribution to the article. Discgolfrules 02:27, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
