You deleted an accurate addition on education in Burnley which used first hand knowledge of people who went to Burnley Girls' High School on Kiddrow Lane and knew when it had moved there.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/lancashire/content/image_galleries/burnley_schools_gallery.shtml ....................... Eileen Coates I spent my freshman year at the Ormerod Road building of Burnley Girls High School. I remember how dark and somewhat depressing the place was. I came by bus from Brierfield. We had to walk across town to a dreary cafeteria on Plumb Street for lunch and it always seemed to be raining. In our second year we moved to a bright, modern building on Kiddrow Lane, almost in Padiham. I remember Miss Davenport, an English teacher, showing us the new library with a cork floor. There were so many rules about behaviour...control detentions for running or being too loud or misbehaving. I did well in English and remember Miss Horton with great respect. She was a fine teacher and I remember so much from her classes. From there grew a love of literature, of reading and an intense curiosity about the world which has served me well in my career as a writer. Best wishes to all members of BGHS Class of 1959!

[edit] Albert Wilkinson
Where have you been, the bloke is very notable and legendary.

Everyone knows him from his work at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Surely you must have seen the dwarf driving the train?
Of course if this isn't enough the Times wouldn't have gone to hunt him down would they?

Even his autograph is worth money

[edit] A new Oxbridge user box
Crac4543...I am currently in the process of writing a user box for all of the colleges that are part of Oxbridge. This template is meant to replace your current college template. Please take a look at the work in progress and comment on it. My main concerns are college abbreviations and color choice. I am using scarf colors for the colleges. Thank you. - LA @ 18:14, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Burnley
I am still a very new user of Wikipedia and don't know how to add links in properly, so I quoted the statistics from the Burnley Express without believing them 100 per cent. That 'recent times' part of the article is irritatingly prominent but scanty!
