[edit] Subheadings
Recently, you made several changes to headings in the Queen's University article. All of them had to be reverted as per the WP:HEAD policy. I once did the same thing on another wikiarticle and was directed to acquaint myself with the WP:HEAD policy to prevent me making the same mistake again. Specifically,
- Only the first word is capitalized in a section heading; subsequent words are capitalized only if they are proper nouns
- You cannot use the triple inverted commas (i.e., triple apostrophes ''') that are usually used for bolding words; the wiki system will use bold as determined by the heading level, which is itself determined by the number of equals signs preceding and succeeding the section heading
- Once section headings are created, other wikieditors and wikiauthors almost immdediately start creating wikilinks to them; if you change a heading, you break those links.
I hope this is helpful. — SpikeToronto (talk) 05:17, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Queen's University
Hey, thanks a lot! I know a lot of your edits have further helped the article significantly. I really want to try and improve the article as much as possible, starting with its aesthetic appeal. Again, thanks 6mat1 (talk) 14:48, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
