[edit] My Projects on Wikipedia
-
- Version 0.1.5 Their is a beta version of my WikiHelper available here. On the honor of my WikiRep, it's safe.
- Version 0.1.7 is now available as an update package (source available as well.) This adds more features and fixes a bug where your error code was not reported to the user properly. Matthew Glennon (talk) 19:58, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
- Figure out why OpenID images (released under GNU) can't be used.

[edit] Dreams of Wikipedia
It seems slightly unfortunate that the length of time I have been a registered user and how many edits I have made will dictate my eligibility for the "admin tools" that would allow me to work harder here at Wikipedia. You see, while I love the English language (the employment of correct grammar, punctuation, and syntax), I'm just not excited by writing as may of the gifted editors on Wikipedia. What I do love, however, is the administration, maintenance, and assistance that comes with working behind the scenes of any project. From Chief Lighting Technician in high school, to a priest in WoW, to Network Administrator as an adult... I work much better in a support role than in the front office. This is what I eventually want to do for Wikipedia.
- Work diligently to shorten the ever growing Backlog.
- Complete moves for editors that have reached a consensus.
- Enforce agreements forged in arbitration.
- Continue to learn and grow with the rest of the Wikipedia Community.
[edit] How I Fact Check
I have recently found a love for checking random articles reference(s) in order to verify the article actually speaks directly to the reference(s). I read each article as if I had no prior knowledge of the topic (which is usually the case) and either make an attempt to find a new resource for all or part of the article, annotate a discrepancy, or if I'm really unsure, post a concern on the Talk Page. I generally live by Hanlon's Razor, "Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity."
[edit] Must Know Info
I am currently in the process of redeployment. Internet availability is limited. I will return early May 2008.
