I have been a reader of Wikipedia for many years now, and just recently decided to start editing. As a reader, finding vandalism isn't much of a daily occurrence, but I did find some of it and decided to get an account to help revert it. Now, people who look through my contributions will notice my very first edit was to my monobook.js. You will ask who I found it, and it's quite simple. A peek at the history led me to twinkle, a very good set of javascripts. I looked further at other user's monobook.js pages and found a javascript filter and the popups.
During February and March of 2008, I didn't edit at all. The reason was that Gurch released huggle, a very quick vandal-fighting program. Consequently, I thought there would be no need to for me to edit as user with huggle would revert vandalism much, much more efficiently than I ever would. I peeked around in mid-April and I found that hugglemania had died down, and I decided it would make sense for me to edit once again.
In mid-May, I decided to get Huggle. It was a very good choice; it is very efficient, and I can make many more reverts now.
This is my short wiki-biography. Hopefully, there is more to come.
