Mini Biography

Crackaveli was born August 24 1992, Charlotte North Carolina, USA. He grew up most of his life in Charlotte when he moved to Concord North Carolina where he met Darius "Dr. J" Johnson they began making music together where both of them moved to Midland, North Carolina and formed a group called Tha Midsidaz, Members are Crackaveli, Dr. J, S.M.G., Bigg Jay & the late MC Kinny. In December 2002 the group made a posse mixtape entitled "Midland's Most Wanted." Crackaveli then went solo in 2003 and made a mixtape entitled "Ogizziestyle" which featured the underground classic "Cracker Smacker" which sparked controversy with Charlotte underground rap group North Carolina's Finest, They began dissing each other back and forth. The fued had gotten so bad a member of North Carolina's Finest 'J-RoC' put an entire bottle of rat poison in Crackaveli's chocolate pie at the 4th of July celebration in Wilmington North Carolina, Crackaveli became ill and was rushed to the hospital where he slipped into a coma for 8 days, after awakening from the coma he couldn't speak his voice had disappeared, He underwent vocal cord and larynx surgery the operation took 5 and a half hours, his voice came back but more bold, scratchy and rough and completely different than the voice he had before the poisoning, Crackaveli was discharged 3 weeks later, he went straight back to Midside Records and produced his second mixtape in 2005 entitled "187 Dayz" Which featured the North Carolina's Finest diss songs "187 Dayz, Cracka Witta Attitude, J-Cock & Shoulda Shot Me" The mixtape became a classic in Charlotte, North Carolina and Crackaveli was voted the greatest and the youngest producer in the South East. But on December 12th 2005, North Carolina's Finest CEO Jose "Twip" Gonzalez came to Midside Records and began shooting a Colt 45. in the studio hitting MC Kinny in the head he died instantly one round hit Crackaveli in the arm, as soon as Gonzalez left the studio walking to his car Crackaveli had taken a glass shard which was shattered in the gunfire and began violently stabbing Gonzalez, Gonzalez died 3 days later having surgery, North Carolina's Finest then went bankrupt due to the death of the CEO and was forced to shut down the entire group. In November 2nd 2006 Crackaveli released his 3rd mixtape entitled "Strictly 4 My C.R.A.C.K.A.Z." that included the underground hits "La Di Da Di, Where I'm From, Throw It Up" Rumors have been spreaded that he will release his 4th mixtape January 2007 but he has yet to confirm it.
