Just curious... what the devil is a 'feral' flavor? Feral denotes something that was domesticated, and has escaped back to a wild habitat. I could see it being attributed to the Hawthorn plant itself, if it was, for example, brought to the U.S. from another country as a cultivar, but then began to grow wild, but in what way can a taste or flavor be said to be feral? 75.89.100.205 13:50, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

I was just about to say the same thing! Also, "lucky enough to know about it" is totally biased; for example, someone who's on the Atkins diet would be rather UNlucky to know about mayhaw jelly... Succubus MacAstaroth (talk) 21:33, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
