[edit] Prefects

Is it really necessary or appropriate to list out all the current prefects? There's something about listing non-notable minors which just doesn't sit well with me. As a test, I clicked on all the schools in the above WP Schools box and none of them list current students, only notable former students. I really think the prefects section should be removed and only notable former students should be listed. Sarah Ewart (Talk) 11:46, 2 April 2006 (UTC)

I totally agree, Sarah. It's exactly what I was thinking should be removed before I even came onto the talk page. It is irrelevant to knowledge about the school. I say we delete the specific boys names - but perhaps keep the top line about how prefects are elected and place it in another part of the article. Jpeob (Talk) 11:35, 24 April 2006 (EST)

[edit] Welcome to "Schools"

Good page. Initial assessment is above. Well done. As you note your page is not yet in Wiki style but has a lot of information. Victuallers 15:24, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Day boy houses

I am wondering why the details of the day boy houses have been significantly condensed (though the same not done to the boarding houses) -- was this a conscious editorial decision, or yet another incidence of vandalism? (Personally, I prefer the expanded version that used to be there -- there doesn't seem to be any space constraint issue with this page, and the information about the namesakes of the houses is interesting and informative.)
