[edit] Notability

This article doesn't assert the game's notability, or provide any independent, reliable sources. I have tagged the article for now in the hopes that this may change. If nothing is forthcoming, I will take to AfD. Marasmusine 12:00, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

I may not be qualified to reply on the notability the article provides of this game on it's own, as I am a contributor and thus I might be somehow biased, but could you please be a little more explicit on what the article lacks? I am afraid I am not such and expert on wikipedia (in fact most of my edits are minor) so a few guidelines could be handful, just to meet the standard quality stuff you were talking about. It's included in all major linux distributions, and is very well known. I can't see how it's not notable. I have included a 3rd party review to address the issue. --Slashme (talk) 07:58, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

To clarify, WP:Notability is the guideline I am using; i.e. the coverage needs to come from a reliable source as well as being 3rd party. A published magazine review or somesuch would be good. Marasmusine (talk) 09:38, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

I've had a look around, and reliable 3rd party references do seem to be rather thin on the ground, I admit. I have included a reference to a reliable 3rd party magazine review of a CD on which it was featured, which mentions the game. --Slashme (talk) 06:17, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
