Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is the second solo album by American country singer Miranda Lambert. The album was released on May 1, 2007 on Columbia Records Nashville.
Following its release, the album debuted at number six on the U.S. Billboard 200, selling about 53,000 copies in its first week.[1] According to Billboard as of June 14, 2008 the album has sold 437,066 copies in the U.S.[2] This album was #26 on Rolling Stone's list of the Top 50 Albums of 2007.[3] The title track was #28 on Rolling Stone's list of the 100 Best Songs of 2007.[4]
As of 2008, three singles have been released from the album, all three of which have entered the Hot Country Songs charts. The title track peaked at #50, while "Famous in a Small Town" reached #14, becoming Lambert's highest-peaking song to date. The third single is "Gunpowder & Lead", which is in the Top 20 on the country charts as of May 2008.
At the 2008 Academy of Country Music awards, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend won the Album of the Year award.[5]
