Crawford College of Art and Design

Crawford College of Art and Design is one of the leading colleges of art and design in Ireland. The college is a school of Cork Institute of Technology. Today the college has facilities for 300 students and offers well-recognised courses in Fine Art, Ceramic Design, Art Therapy and Art & Design Education.
Located in Cork, Ireland it has been provided education in the arts for over 200 years. The college has its origins in the Cork School of Design of 1850 associated with the Royal Cork Institution. The building that originally housed the college was built in 1724 as Cork’s Custom House. In 1979 the college was transferred to the former Technical School on Sharman Crawford Street, near Saint Finbarre's Cathedral.
