Cratogeomys is a genus of rodent in the Geomyidae family. It was previously considered a subgenus of Pappogeomys.[1]
It contains the following species:
- Yellow-faced Pocket Gopher (Cratogeomys castanops)
- Smoky Pocket Gopher (Cratogeomys fumosus)
- Llano Pocket Gopher (Cratogeomys gymnurus)
- Merriam's Pocket Gopher (Cratogeomys merriami)
- Querétaro Pocket Gopher (Cratogeomys neglectus)
- Naked-nosed Pocket Gopher (Cratogeomys tylorhinus)
- Zinser's Pocket Gopher (Cratogeomys zinseri)
