A US Navy submarine operating in the North Atlantic is hunting German ships attacking allied shipping. There is extra tension on the submarine when the Commander (played by Andrews) and the Executive Officer (played by Power) find out they are wooing the same woman (played by Baxter). The film culminates in a commando raid on an island acting as a supply base for the German ships.
