Craniforma is a class of brachiopods (lamp shells) and the only class of the subphylum Craniformea. It comprises three orders, of which only one (the Craniida) is still living. Still, most Craniida are, like the other orders, only known from Paleozoic to Paleogene fossils.
Craniata is another name for the Craniforma, but this is presently avoided due to the group of chordates bearing the same name.
