The Crandon International Off-Road Raceway is an off-road racing racetrack that has hosts the "World Championship Off-Road Races".

The track is located 1 mile west of Crandon, Wisconsin on U.S. Route 8.

[edit] Track layout

The track started out as a 1.75 mile long off-road track. The track was shortened to 1.25 miles in 2002 so that spectators could see the entire track.

Races are started with a "land rush" start. The vehicles are started side by side in a standing start.

[edit] BorgWarner World Championship Off-Road Races

The "World Championship Off-Road Races" were first held in a 101 mile race on a 25 1/4 mile course in 1970. The current site has hosted the event since 1984. The event takes place on Labor Day weekend. The event has been sanctioned by CORR since 1998, who took over the sanctioning from SODA.
