Craig Thomas Walsh (b. April 11, 1971 in Somerville, New Jersey) is an American composer. Walsh studied at the Mannes College of Music (B.Mus.) in New York City and Brandeis University (M.F.A., Ph.D). His major teachers included Martin Boykan, Eric Chasalow, Robert Cuckson, David Loeb, and Yehudi Wyner. He has received numerous awards for his work, including a Guggenheim Fellowship, and currently teaches composition at the University of Arizona.[1] He formerly taught at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.[2] His music is recorded on the Society of Electro-Acoustic Music in the United States CD series and on Centaur Records. His music is published by European American Music and CraigWalshMusic, ASCAP.

Walsh has focused on a variety of chamber music projects-both acoustic and electronic-since the 1990s, the most recent being a recording project with The New York New Music Ensemble. The compact disc is due to be released on Albany Records in late 2008.
