Craig Strachan, (born February 10, 1971 in Dundee), represented Scotland in both Ice Hockey and Field Hockey throughout the 1980s.
At club level he played for both the Dundee Rockets and Fife Flyers at Ice Hockey.
Craig represented Scotland at field hockey in both the Under 18's and Senior levels. He played with Menzieshill, Dundee Wanderers and Plexus Mercian at club level. While playing with Plexus Mercian they won the national league, which earned them a place in the European Cup, in Cologne, Germany.
Craig was selected for the 1988 Olympic Hockey team, but due to politics of the sport, the Scottish players were not permitted to participate in the event.
His cousins Niall Stott, Ross Stott and Jenny Gerrard have followed in his footsteps currently representing Scotland in Field Hockey.
