Craig Neal

Craig Duane Neal (born February 16, 1964 in Muncie, Indiana) is a retired American professional basketball player who was selected by the Portland Trail Blazers in the 3rd round (71st overall) of the 1988 NBA Draft. A 6'5" (1.96 m) guard from Georgia Tech, Neal played in 2 NBA seasons for 3 different teams: the Trail Blazers, Miami Heat, and Denver Nuggets.
In his NBA career, Neal played in 63 games and scored a total of 158 points.
Following his career as a player, Craig Neal was an assistant coach and talent scout with the NBA's Toronto Raptors. Following this position, he was the associate head coach for the Iowa Hawkeyes from August 2004 to March 2007. As of March 23, 2007, Neal is the associate head basketball coach under Steve Alford for the University of New Mexico.
