Craig Keating

Craig Keating is a Canadian politician from British Columbia. He is currently a North Vancouver City Councillor[1], first elected in 1999[2], and re-elected in 2002, and 2005[3].

With a Ph.D in History from McMaster University, Keating makes his profession as an instructor at Langara College in Vancouver, primarily teaching twentieth century history[4].

In addition to running for municipal office, Keating was a candidate for the Leadership of the British Columbia New Democratic Party in 2003[5] and ran for the New Democratic Party in the provincial constituency of North Vancouver-Lonsdale in 2005.

As part of his muncicipal responsibilities, Keating is an alternate delegate to the Greater Vancouver Regional District Board of Directors[6] and sits on the Board of Directors of the North Vancouver Chamber of Commerce[7].
