Craig Johnson (NY State Senator)

Craig Johnson is currently a State Senator for the State of New York. He is a member of the Democratic Party. On February 6, 2007, Johnson was elected to the State Senate representing the 7th district. Prior to this election, Johnson served as a member of the Nassau County Legislature. He serves as the Ranking Minority Member of the Senate Local Government Committee, which oversees legislation in the area of New York State's counties, towns, villages and special districts. He is the a former Ranking Minority Member of the Senate Environmental Conservation Committee. He is a native of Port Washington, New York.
