Craig Allen

Craig Allen (born January 25, 1957, in Brooklyn, New York) is a meteorologist whose weather reports can be heard weekdays on WCBS Newsradio 880 (880 AM radio) in New York City and internationally at WCBS880.com. He is currently signed with WCBS through 2010. Allen is also the weekend meteorologist for WNYW-TV in New York City, replacing Tracy Humphrey in the year 2008.
He previously worked for WCBS-TV until September 2006 and CBS This Morning and CBS Morning News from 1996 to October 1999.
Allen is a graduate of Farmingdale High School; he earned his bachelors degree from Stony Brook University in 1979 and has been the chief meteorologist on WCBS since 1980.
On January 11, 2007, Allen joined News 12 Long Island as a fill-in meteorologist. [1]
On June 2, 2007, Allen began filling in as weather anchor on WNYW, a short tenure with the station. He is expected to do the weather forecasts for fourteen out of eighteen weekends, starting with the June 2nd broadcasts.[2] As of the end of 2007, Allen has continued his weekend role as Fox 5's weekend meteorologist since the departure of Tracy Humphrey.
