Cragg Vale is a village south of Mytholmroyd located on the B6138 road which joins the A58 and the A646, it is in the borough of Calderdale, West Yorkshire, England.
During the late 18th century, the area was the home of a band of counterfeiters known as the Cragg Coiners.
Although Cragg Vale is a small liner village it has two pubs The Robin Hood Inn and the Hinchcliffe Arms as well as Cragg Vale Junior and Infants school and a caravan park.
Today, Cragg Vale has a population of about 650.
