Crag Cave is one of the major showcaves in Ireland,[citation needed] Crag Cave is located just outside Castleisland, in Co. Kerry. Located in elevated limestone rock, the system is over 350m long, with two levels.
A very fine visitor centre has been developed at the entrance and includes an indoor playarea for kids, climbing wall, electric rodeo bull etc.
The cave system was discovered in 1983 and thought to be over one million years old,
