Cracker is an American television crime drama, a remake of a British series, also called Cracker. The US version starred Robert Pastorelli as Gerry Fitzgerald and was created in 1997.
The series consisted of 16 hour-long episodes, many of which were almost identical to episodes of the original British series. Robbie Coltrane, the star of the original series, appears as a villain in an episode of the US remake. When the US show was shown in the UK, the rest of Europe and Australia, it was retitled Fitz.
