Crabtree & Evelyn is an American retailer of naturally inspired body, face and home products with stores globally. It was founded in 1973 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, by Cyrus Harvey.

A store in the World Trade Center in New York City sported Crabtree & Evelyn’s new look[1].

The company was named after the Crabtree and John Evelyn. Crabtree is the ancestor of all cultivated apple trees which is prized for its beauty and usefulness. John Evelyn was a 17th century Englishman most famous for the first important conservation literature, Sylva diary.

According to their website, Crabtree & Evelyn use over 160 "natural botanical ingredients" in their skin care products.

Crabtree & Evelyn is owned by the Malaysia company Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad.

One of the many Crabtree & Evelyn locations in New York City was located at The Mall at the World Trade Center. The store was located next to Barami apparel. This Crabtree & Evelyn is also featured in the 2006 movie World Trade Center.
