CQMA, Mini-CQMA and CQN
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
CQMA, Mini-CQMA and CQN are RF connectors, released by Anoison Electronics Ltd. in 2007. They are part of the continuing trend by RF and microwave connector companies in designing quick lock replacements for the threaded interface of SMA and Type N connectors. Greater market demand for smaller, faster connections as well as design flaws in the original QMA and QN connectors, have led manufacturers to create a new Quick Lock SMA and Type N design.
[edit] Improvements
A new locking mechanism allows these connectors to match the performance standards set by the original SMA and Type N. All three connectors have a waterproof seal.
