I think it's very useful, but may be I'm wrong.

This guide offers the pinmod for Socket A processors (CPU unlocking, Vcore Mod, Multi Mod, etc)

Pinmodding Yonah/Merom processors seems to result in some sort of anti-overclocking protection to kick in when using Intel chipsets. This restricts the processor to a 6x multiplier. See http://www.freepatentsonline.com/6535988.html for the Intel patent. ^[1]
