you have heard of the preview button, right? ;-)

i do the same thing, but i'm not as bad... - Omegatron 23:35, Mar 3, 2005 (UTC)

Oh! Oh! am i are, causing a problm? Beleve it or no i have herd of the prevew buton.... and i do use it.... I thought of something else I also I use a word procesor off line.... with a spel check.... and as wel, i'm word blind (can't spell lexdixia) but i can spell 'milli' now. Im afraid it's just the way I am. Its not intentional now Is'nt the page the important thing though? Is how you get there important? As I said on tran talk arnt a load of edits more modular and easier to handle/monitor? But I promise not to touch the tran page anymore ..... tonignt. ----- CPES 00:33, 4 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Like I said, I do it too. [1] But not as badly. [2] :-) - Omegatron 03:52, Mar 4, 2005 (UTC)

By the way, great work on the transistor page.  :-) - Omegatron 16:36, Mar 6, 2005 (UTC)

Thanks (but most of the hard work had already been done by others) - CPES 15:34, 8 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Wow. You have added a lot. Remember that really huge articles should be broken into smaller pieces. Like we have BJT and FET for details about each. Maybe a History of the transistor article is in order? Look at any article about a country, for instance, to see how each subject is summarized and then linked to a main article. The "how a semiconductor works" section should maybe be summarized and then the main section moved to the individual transistor types? I don't know. I guess it's not needed yet... - Omegatron 15:43, Mar 8, 2005 (UTC)

Fully agree: it is getting a bit heavy but for time being I hope it will be ok until we can see how it looks when i have finished messing with it. I was going to put some thoughts on the tran talk page along the lines you suggest. May b ill do it soon: talk to you there. (the tran talk page is also getting a bit portly: with all my ravings). - CPES 17:20, 8 Mar 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Modular electronics diagrams

What do you think of this proposal?

Please leave comments there. Just bringing this to the attention of a handful of people who might care... - Omegatron 00:57, Mar 6, 2005 (UTC)

Will do (my 'watch list' does not work) - CPES 15:34, 8 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Doesn't work? What do you mean? - Omegatron 15:43, Mar 8, 2005 (UTC)
If I tick the 'watch this page' box on a particular page sometimes i get a message saying 'you have a new massage' if there is a change but often not. Perhaps i dont understand 'watch' - CPES 17:03, 8 Mar 2005 (UTC)
"You have a new message" means that someone has left a message on your talk page (like I am doing right now). To see the pages on your watchlist you click on the "My watchlist" link somewhere on the top of your screen, and it shows a listing of the articles you are watching and what has happened to them recently. It's like a personal filtered version of Recent changes. - Omegatron 22:45, Mar 18, 2005 (UTC)

Can you answer my questions on Talk:Transistor#MOSFET_images? - Omegatron 22:45, Mar 18, 2005 (UTC)

Have you figured out how your watchlist works yet? I replied to your MOSFET image requests... - Omegatron 16:31, Mar 23, 2005 (UTC)
Have done - CPES 17:13, 23 Mar 2005 (UTC)

[edit] User sandbox: how to

I saw that you had requested information about how to make a sandbox sub-page for one's user page on Wikipedia talk:About the Sandbox and I noted that no-one had replied (unfortunately). But now I see that you somehow have figured it out anyway. Could you please tell me how it's done? --x-Flare-x 11:06, 24 January 2006 (UTC)

I found out myself, sorry to bother you. :"> --x-Flare-x 13:00, 24 January 2006 (UTC)
