Info (help·info)

"Cuz I Can" is the debut single by the Swedish Pop/rock singer Ana Johnsson (as Ana) released from her (officially) first studio album Cuz I Can. Both the single and album were only released in Sweden. The single was released in March 2004. This version of the song however wasn't successful.

After she had gotten fame for the worldwide hit single "We Are", Johnsson decided to re-release the song. In 2005, the song was re-mixed to "Coz I Can", which was released as the third and last single from Ana Johnsson' worldwide first studio album The Way I Am. This version was more successful, charting in both Germany and Japan, where the album has gotten a gold certification for sales over 100,000 (with now over 139,000 copies sold).

[edit] About the song

Ana Johnsson quotes[2]

The lyrics are incredibly important to me. Some of them tell of the experiences I have already had in the mad world of pop biz, some are pure fiction.

The assertion that looks are so important - some girls really believe that they need to look like Barbie dolls with a naked midriff. That's just crazy ...!
