Coyote Lake (also known as Coyote Reservoir) is an artificial lake in Santa Clara County, California, USA, located at 37°07′05″N 121°33′00″W / 37.118, -121.55 north of Gilroy.

The lake is impounded by Coyote Dam, a 140-foot (43 m) high, 980-foot (300 m) long, earth and rock dam built in 1936. The Santa Clara Valley Water District owns the dam.[1]

Coyote Lake–Harvey Bear Ranch County Park provides recreational opportunities on 4,448 acres (18.0 km²) of land surrounding the lake.[3]
