[edit] Cowichan peoples
Cowichan peoples redirects to Cowichan Tribes, so is there a point of keeping it here?--DerRichter (talk) 01:49, 23 January 2008 (UTC) Had to fix this real quick--DerRichter (talk) 01:49, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- Cowichan peoples redirecting that way is just pro tem; Cowichan Tribes is a governmental body, there is no actual ethnographic "Cowichan people"; long story, and the article required will be complicated to write....; the disambig has other reasons to exist - many entries are not directly connected to the "Cowichan people" except by having to do with the same region; "Cowichan" being the name of a region, also, usually in the sense Cowichan Valley though that's a subset of a Cowichan region, if we set out to formally define one (the Cowichan River/Lake basin, really...the Cowichan Valley area is just the lower part of that....)...Skookum1 (talk) 03:57, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
