Cowan railway station is a railway station on the Newcastle and Central Coast Line after Berowra on the CityRail network. The station opened in 1890, three years after the Main North Line opened. It has two side platforms. Cowan is technically the northern limit of the Sydney suburban network, although the practical terminus of most suburban trains is now one station south at Berowra, which is a larger suburb with greater patronage.
