Date: the original image was created in 1898/1899 by Karl Paul Themistocles von Eckenbrecher and the cover design by Maria Madonna Davidoff in 2004 based on an idea by the book editor Wolfgang G. Schwanitz.

Location: The original image was created in Jerusalem and Berlin; the cover design in Princeton, NJ

Author: The original image was created by the Greek-German Artist Karl Paul Themistocles von Eckenbrecher (1842-1921). It was first published in a book by Adolf Meyer: In's Heilige Land. Reisebilder von der großen Festfahrt nach Jerusalem im Oktober und November 1898. Berlin: Verlag Ulrich Meyer 1899, p. 33. The bookcover was designed by Maria Madonna Davidoff.

Permission: There are no copy rights. The book with the original image is over 100 years old. For the bookcover design the publisher Markus Wiener granted the permission.
