Covington and Ohio Railroad

Covington and Ohio Railroad was a predecessor of the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway. Part of a planned railroad link between eastern Virginia and the Ohio River in the 1850s. The uncompleted work was interrupted by the American Civil War.
