Cove Halt railway station

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Cove Halt was a small railway station on the Exe Valley Railway line, at the village of Cove, which is north of Tiverton in Devon, South West England. The station opened in 1924, though had been a siding at the location since the line opened in 1884 (as the Tiverton and North Devon Railway).

Cove Halt was a single platform with a small Great Western Railway-style pagoda shelter on the single-track line. It closed when services were withdrawn on the Exe Valley line in 1963. A level crossing keeper's cottage and a small signal cabin remain at the site.
