- Hello, Count. First of all, there's no problem in blanking your talk page if you want. During a block, admins do insist that warnings stay in place, so that other admins reviewing the situation can see them.
- I saw your post to Rob last night, after you had been blocked. I don't condone it, of course, but you were blocked for it, the block is over, and you have apologized. There's absolutely no need for you to leave if you'd like to stay. I think it was unfortunate that Rob wasn't willing to remove the accusations from his talk page. They annoyed others, including Deskana.
- Please be assured that you're welcome to stay here on Wikipedia, as indeed Rob is. I appreciated the signs that you gave of being willing to move on and to stay against him, and also of being prepared to consider requests.
- If you decide to stay, and you need any help, don't hesitate to ask. I'm sorry that I didn't manage to get the accusations deleted from Rob's page, as I think that would have prevented the unpleasantness of the last few days. However, there was nothing I could do about it quickly that wouldn't have involved edit warring. The correct procedure, I think, would have been to open an RfC, and in fact Deskana and I were considering that, although I wasn't anxious to try that until all else had failed.
- And if you do decide to leave, you have my very best wishes. I don't consider that you were 100% to blame in what happened.
- I'm sure that Sophia will have e-mailed Rob to tell him of your apology. I shall also probably be sending him an e-mail in the next few days.
