[edit] fix for alt tag text

Would it be possible to change the code to be as follows:

[[Image:{{ #if: {{{variant|}}} | {{{flag alias-{{{variant}}}}}} | {{{flag alias}}} }}|{{ #if: {{{size|}}} | {{{size}}} | 22x20px }}|border|Flag of {{{flag name alias|{{{alias}}}}}}]]

This change would allow for a "flag name alias" variable to be used in country_data template for countries where "alias" is not the same as "shortname alias". This variable would allow the alt text of flags to appear correctly. For example, in the case of Ireland, the alt text of the flag image would be able to read "Flag of Ireland" not "Flag of Republic of Ireland", as it does at present. The change would also allow related sporting flags (e.g. {{fb|Ireland}}) to display alt tags correctly. --sony-youthpléigh 22:04, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
