This template macro is used at the top of a list of counties for a particular state, where the only information in the table are the county code and the name of the county. If the table should contain more information, you will probably prefer to use some of the other macros. See the category below for more information.

Usage: {{CountyTableStart|Fips=}}
where

Fips= is the two digit FIPS State Code for that state, e.g. 02 for Alaska, 08 for Arizona, etc.

optional parameters

ShowSeat=Y to indicate that the county seat will be listed in the table as an entry in parentheses after the name of the county.

Type= defaults to County; you set it if the name is something else such as Type=Parish

StateColums= defaults to 3; you set it to indicate the number of columns the state field will cover
