FIPS County Code
|
This transclusion macro is used to start a table listing entries for counties, where the county code is the second column. When you need an extra column between the column 1 and the county code, use {{CountyMulticolumnTableStart2}}.
Usage: {{CountyMulticolumnTableStart|Fips=|Columns=}}
Where
- Fips= is the two digit FIPS State Code, e.g. Fips=02 for Alaska, Fips=08 for Arizona, etc.
- Columns=3 is the default, it indicates the number of columns to appear under the State column. Where there is more information, add more colums.
Optional parameters
- Type= defaults to County; may be changed to something else such as Type=Parish.
- Ref= is null but allows a reference to be attached to the Fips County Code Column. You have to put the <ref></ref> on the caller.
- Column1= to put some value in the title of the first column if there is special information in that column.
When used with Columns=3, this macro is usually followed by the macro {{County3Top}} or some similar 3-column macro related to displaying county information in a table form. Table entries typically use the template County3 unless they require special display, then they use the typical wiki table entries. See the category below for more details.
If you are using more than 3 columns then use a different following macro.
