[edit] Notability challegned
This article fails to proclaim any notability other than the fact that she is a pornographic actress. If possible, and if someone is willing, would they please enhance the article to meet WP:BIO and the proposed WP:PORN BIO guidelines. Thanks. -- Joe Beaudoin Jr. Think out loud — WP:PORN BIO? 03:00, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
Well, it's not much but she will have over 100 titles under her belt relatively soon, which would establish a criteria. (I'd bet she would if you counted internet work.) It's hard to write a NEUTRAL article without either using original research (I could say she's sweet, upbeat, and cheery unlike any newcomer out there, but that sounds like a fan page).Jbm867 03:38, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] 100 titles!
Hey, hey, she has over 100 titles on IAFD, which establishes criteria for keeping, right? Jbm867 20:14, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
- And it's been pointed out on the voting page. Consensus so far seems to be to keep. Tabercil 23:01, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] and she was discovered by the bus...
What is that supposed to mean? The "bangbus"??? Please clarify. 70.20.176.203 19:13, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, I have no idea what that means either, so I deleted the phrase. If people know what that means the info can be reinserted. --- Deville (Talk) 17:16, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
There was a bangbus episode with a girl called Melanie and they look and behave exactly the same. She surprised them by telling them that she is a nudist. 87.168.104.90 22:45, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Filmography
I've culled the filmography back to around 6 titles as per the guidelines at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Porn_stars#Filmographies:
-
- Any filmographies should be partial, not a complete listing of each and every film that person appeared in. Filmographies are to be limited to six films at most...
There are guidelines there also which say when a given movie can be added above those numbers. Tabercil 14:36, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
- The "guidelines" you are referencing are identified as suggestions by a project in progress, not adopted guidelines at all:
- "Some Wikipedians have formed a project to better organize information in articles related to porn stars/erotic actors. This page and its subpages contain their suggestions; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians. If you would like to help, please inquire on the talk page and see the to-do list there." (emphasis added)
- If you review the Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Porn stars page, you'll see that there has been a discussion about this very thing. While my last comment there has gone unanswered, I see nothing that says the suggestions are now a guideline. In other words, I think you're a bit ahead of the times.—Chidom talk 10:01, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
- I can see there's a discussion underway about filmographies, and I do recognize that you do have valid concerns about having such a low count for some genres. But at the same time, there is very much the gotcha that Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. Six films, plus additions for specific reasons seems to be a good idea to me... and I've no objection if someone says the count should be higher like say 10 or even 20 films. But when someone goes to boost the filmography to 112 films, that's overkill in my opinion, and until a better idea comes along, I'll fight to hold Courtney's aricle to 6 films.
