Talk:County Route 9 (Suffolk County, New York)

[edit] Maybe it shouldn't be flipped
Of the three Suffolk County Roads that are tagged as needing to be flipped, I'm not so sure this one should be. While it does run from northwest to southeast, as the person who created the article indicates, I've always thought of it as an west-east road, much like New York State Route 454. ---- DanTD 18:32, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] CR 9
the page CR 9 redirects here. There are numerous other CR 9's so why is this? Update, so does County route 9. Smartyshoe 15:00, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
- Bad redirects created by a clueless editor. I don't see the benefit in having a dab page for county routes, so unless it's decided to redirect the CR 9 and such links to List of highways numbered 9, the redirects are probably better off being deleted. --TMF Let's Go Mets - Stats 16:01, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
- Perhaps, to avoid the list of highways numbered 9 page becomig incredibly large (and there must be at least 500 CR 9's in the US) we could redirect it to "list of county routes numbered 9 by state]] then have links to List of county routes numbered 9 in New York, List of county routes numbered 9 in Illinois, etc. and on those pages we list pages like County Route 9 (Dutchess County, New York) , this one, etc.
