[edit] Staffordshire or Worcestershire

I have heard several people tell me that the County Borough of Warley existed within Staffordshire, which seems probable as all of Warley except Oldbury (and the Oakham/Tividale area of Dudley) was part of this county. Yet each time I stated this on the article, someone corrected my statement and recorded that Warley was in Worcestershire. Another possible theory is that the borough was actually split over the two former counties; on a 1972 ordance survey map of the West Midlands (shortly before it became an official country) showed the Worcestershire-Staffordshire county borough following the old boundary lines of Oldbury and Smethwick townships. Can anyone settle this dispute? AlexWilkes 20:52, 6 April 2007
